Sony Ericsson unveils XPERIA X10 as expected.

We didn’t see this one coming or anything. Okay, all sarcasm aside – Sony Ericsson is just the latest of handset manufacturers to dip their feet into the Android pool. Despite a late start in the race of manufacturers, the XPERIA X10 seems to be a spectacular effort by the folks over at SE. While we’re going to have to wait until early next year to see the device, rest assured it might just be the wait.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is the manufacturer’s first Android phone. It is rather high-end, equipped with a 1GHz Snapdagon processor, 4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 480×854 pixels and an 8.1-megapixel camera with autofocus. However, its software features are just as impressing. What it adds to the Android universe is a personalized interface, called UX (from User eXperience). Basically, UX combines various entertainment and social media features. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 is the manufacturer’s first Android phone. Windows expects 30 new 6.5 handsets by year’s end.

ood news for all of you Windows Mobile heads out there — it’s being reported that a total of 30 new handsets will be powered the anticipated 6.5 release before the end of 2009. The director of the GCR Mobile Team Unit at Microsoft China, Benjamin Tan, has let loose a series of rumors claiming a barrage of Windows Mobile devices from Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG, HTC, Toshiba, Acer, HP, and a few other unnamed manufacturers will be making a debut in the up and coming months. Sony Ericsson tries to change the “way you listen to music” with motion-activated MH907 headphones

Remember when we reported Sony Ericsson’s claim that “the way you listen to music changes forever” would change on September 21st? Well it’s September 21st and I don’t really listen to music any differently than I did yesterday. The Verizon V8575 Chocolate Touch Affirmed to Replace the Alledged BL40 Chocolate Touch Release

The build-up of confusion surrounding the impending Chocolate Touch has finally reached its breaking point. The beautifully designed, slim, slender BL40 Chocolate Touch will not be the next LG/Verizon introduction. Instead, the Verizon ‘focus group” came to the conclusion that the BL40 was begging for too much superficial attention and that it would only bring inefficiency. Replacing the BL40 is the VX8575.
