An impending inundation of Android handsets waits in the depths of potential. In addition to HTC’s breadth of sets to come found in recent cell phone news, some Moto gadgets, and Sony Ericsson’s product, Acer will also be participating in 2010’s Androidmania. Acer’s Liquid is just beginning to find its place on retail shelves, but what really deserves attention is Acer’s VP’s declaration that “five or six” additional Android models are being constructed for the new year. The handsets are reported to be low- to high-end gadgets, offering options for all financial demographics. But, this is only a report pertaining to the young 2010. The third and fourth quarter’s plans are not included. Anyone excited about this announcement should be dwelling in European or Asian areas, as there is no indication that Acer will be extending its goodies to the US.
