| Excellent product. Great value because it acts as a charger, ipod holder and transmitter, 3 jobs in one. Easy to set up - simply choose an FM frequency and away you go. If there is any background noise just retune in 2 seconds and you should have no problems. Fits all Ipods with dock connector. Purchased for my 80G ipod which fits in perfectly - nice tight fit which is want you want in the car. Go out and buy one and fully use your ipod |
Griffin RoadTrip 4031 - Great accessory

My car has a 6 CD autochanger, but it is in the boot and I tend to leave the same old CDs in it. Originally I had one of the cassette adaptors for the iPod Mini but that just died after a few weeks and the quality wasn't up to much anyway.
Rather than waste the iPod, I got the 4031. It was up and running at once, and the extension bits enable it to be taken clear of the handbrake.
I'm just buying another one for a friend, and I rate this device very highly.
There's just one place I have found - a long hill on the A3/A31 junction at Guildford for about a mile - where a radio frequency blots out the 4031, then it comes back in again. You just need to remember to switch RDS back on after having used it, or the radio performance suffers!
It is well worth the money, in my opinion. I never use the iPod through the earpiece, always through some other device such as this, or in my study throught the Logic-3 speakers. |
Great bit of kit would highly recomend!

I purchased this after moving from Creative Labs to a video iPOD due to the lack of peripherals for the Creative for in-car. This FM transmitter is fantastic, sends a good strong signal to the stereo and is simple to set up and tune.
This is a great buy for all iPOD owners. |
