| I would highly recommend the Philips Rechargeable grooming set. I bought this for my partners Christmas and he gives it a big thumbs up. I have bought other kinds in the past and this one is the best by far. The nasal trimmer is excellent! |

| This is the best shaving/hair trimming kit I have ever owned and I strongly recommend it. I bought it in Instanbul airport, en route to Sudan, having left my usual grooming stuff at home in Bucharest, by mistake. I was wary of the low price and lightweight looks but when i tried it out, I was amazed at the quality and the results. I am also very happy since I usually travel with a Remington stubble trimmer and a bigger Phillips hair trimmer (the size of a skittle), plus their respective chargers, and all that added up that is some weight, over half a kilo. Ive been fretting for a better solution for a long time. Finally, I found it, by chance. This little beast is as light as feather, including charger, and has it ALL. I keep waiting for the catch, because surely something this good cannot be this cheap. But so far, no catch. Just a smooth, close-cropped skull and neat stubble on chin/jaw. Plus, no more unsightly wisps of nasal/ear hair. Tip: for a real close crop, up top, use the hair trimming blade plus transparent SHAVING attachment, on shortest setting. That's the look I've been chasing for years to no avail, until now. If I sound like I work for Phillips, forget it, I don't. I'm a journalism trainer / writer, who just thinks this shaver is excellent (and is perplexed by some of the negative reviews here). Get one. If you don't like it, I'm pretty sure someone among your friends/family will and the expense is bearable. I hope Phillips keep making the QG3150. |
Comprehensive set of grooming tools

| This is the third set of trimming tools that I've owned. As purely a beard trimmer, it is not quite as good as the Philip trimmer I first owned, but it does include far more accessories. Generally I am satisfied with this product, with my only concern being the firmness of the trimmer guide attachments: it is a little too easy to slide them to their lowest setting, giving a closer trim than intended. That said, I would recommend this product. |
