Great Shave

I recently bought a cruzer3 and was pleasantly surprised to find an electric shaver that actually shaves first time that didn't clear out the bank account!
Not only that but it has the option to use a beard trimmer attachment and a hair clipper attachment, so you can use it whatever look you are going for. It's brilliant at getting in those hard to reach places and creating defined lines - especially on sideburns and designer stubble.
I am very pleased with mine and would definitely recommend it to a friend. |

I recently bought the new CruZer3, and although I was a little sceptical to begin with I now think that it's a great product, mainly because you can do so much more with it than just shave; you can style facial hair or normal hair, trim it to different lengths and cut shapes into it. I like changing my look regularly and the CruZer3 lets me do that with great ease although I have to say that it takes a little getting used to styling shapes into your facial hair or normal hair.
The shaver is a good size too making it easy to handle and light to carry in a travel or wash bag. The various attachments are easy to piece together and for the price I think it's a very reasonable buy given the results you get from it. I thoroughly recommend it.

I been trying to use one of these for several weeks but found it's capabilities as a shaver to be dramatically inferior to that of my dedicated electric shaver - it doesn't seem to cope with 2-3 days growth nearly as well as other shavers I have used. It is also the first electric shaver I have owned that has grazed my skin.
The wide trimmer, which can be used with an adjustable length guard, doesn't seem to cope with heavy hair at all well and I have discovered that it has a tendency to "pull" on hairs rather than cutting them cleanly which is extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately the range of hair lengths you can set is very restricted when compared to a dedicated hair trimmer. The narrow, curved, trimmer is very useful though.
As other reviews for this product have been much more favourable than my own experiences I have been trying to contact Braun for assistance in case my particular model is faulty. Unfortunately after sending a replacement foil and cutter block, which failed to improve performance, they have declined to respond to all further correspondance.
From the practicallity point of view, I have found the performance of a dedicated trimmer and dedicated shaver to be better than this product even though their combined costs are less than the Cruzer.
On the plus side, the design and build quality is excellent. It is also very useful to be able to rinse it clean under running water. |
