Nokia 6630. A truly sophisticated mobile phone. It does need to be seen in the shop. To be handled and checked out, rather than forming an opionion from a magazine or newspaper picture. Because at first glance it looks ungainly. It is not until it is nestling comfortably in the palm of the hand, the true potential of the design, is really appreciated. Everything works. At least, for me. I especially appreciated the Nokia downloading disc, which enables me to easily download pictures from the internet and which I have saved, onto the nokia 6630. The big nokia screen does them justice. All the familiar and well thought out interface menues are easy enough to use. I would have liked more short cuts though. And one niggle would be the icons down the left hand side of the screen. Useful, but they do impede slightly on the pictures I have chosen as screen savers. Fireplayer is fun. I am by no means a teen but still I enjoy pressing the buttons and blending the mixes of drums and base etc. The video downloads, (and I am always concious of the money side of things while downloading) worked well, on the one brief session I have downloaded. In fact, it is so easy to want to use all the different functions on the internet. But take heed of any costs involved. The phone is well built, without any creaks from the casing when using the keys. The battery life before charging, is not too bad, for a screen of this size. I would certainly say it has not caused me any inconvenience. The only other thing I would add, is try and obtain a suitable pouch to keep the phone in, when not in use. For the reason the screen is large and therfore, because of this, could be fairly easy to scratch. I think it is a really good phone. One that I enjoy using, just to be able to ..... use it.
Stop searching and buy this phone NOW!!!

This is one of the best phones i have ever held in my hands, i say my handS because the only down side to this phone is its size. The camera on this phones is unbelievable it is better than the digital camera i have. All the phones features are amazing adn i also like the Bluetooth connectivity- this lets you send anything for free! Like i said the only bad thing about this phones is the size, the phone is quite big already but then it comes out at the bottom. Don't let this put you off because all in all it is a great phone this is why i have given it 5 stars even thou it is a big phone!

I almost deducted 1 star for the rather large size of this phone but to be fair to Nokia, unlike poor performance, you know the dimensions when you decide to buy a phone so you can't complain about them afterwards. I would say that, if like me, you only really want to phone and text and browse the WAP service, then perhaps this phone isn't for you. However, if you like all the fancy bits the latest phones have to offer then get the Nokia 6630. Most of the features are wasted on me I'm afraid but as far as functionality and performance go, I haven't had a problem yet. Perhaps the keypad could be more in proportion with the screen (It is very small whereas the screen is very large), but for gaming, camera and video use I expect this is a great feature. Certainly a brilliant phone but not one for the techno-phobe. Although large, feels good in the hand and the rounded bottom feels and sits well. Well worth its money (If you can afford it!)
